What will you do at Axxess?

  • Work with UX designers and experienced developers to design and build new features in accordance with best practices and UX specifications.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Build blindingly simple interfaces by writing maintainable CSS.
  • Understand Progressive enhancement and graceful degradation methodologies and use the right one for the situation.
  • Learn quickly and be productive in a highly collaborative, lightning-fast environment.

 What you bring?

  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science, MIS, or related.
  • Working knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • 2+ years of experience developing modular front-end components and building advanced web experiences using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Practical exposure and/or experience with JavaScript, ES6, jQuery, AJAX
  • Experience in at least one modern JavaScript framework
  • Expertise with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web
  • Solid understanding of user interactions required for Single-Page Applications
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Front-end skills and basic understanding of how back-end development works
  • Conceptual knowledge of RESTful integration
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies

What are the preferred additional requirements?

  • Experience with any CSS preprocessors like SASS, LESS or STYLUS
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with VueJS/Aurelia/CanJS or similar JS frameworks
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack/RequireJS or similar tools
