Analytical Chemistry Intern (Paid)

Description

Jones Environmental (www.jonesenv.com) in Santa Fe Springs, CA, is a family-owned California State certified laboratory serving the environmental field since 1991. We excel at providing reliable results for air/soil gas, soil, and water analyses. Our lab thrives in an innovative, yet relaxed environment and will offer a solid education to interns of all levels. We welcome all applicants, regardless of year and experience. Apply to join our growing and dynamic team!

Ideally suited for the current college student or recent graduate looking to boost their résumé, our internship works around your class schedule and provides significant hands-on learning opportunities. To receive the greatest benefit, we ask you devote at least 4-6 consecutive hours any day you work in the lab. Interns can expect 10-25 hours per week at $12/hour—additional hours may be granted as schedules and workflow allow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a young scientist, and we look forward to working with our new interns as they grow their skills in our lab. We have had many interns at Jones Environmental over the past 20 years. Each has gained experience and analytical chemistry knowledge and gone on to professional careers in chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, engineering, and environmental science.
