Child Care Specialist (Direct Care)

We invite you to join our team at SJRC Texas in New Braunfels to offer a healing environment for children and youth who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned. Individual treatment plans, a homelike environment and highly trained staff all help each youth gain success. We are a Group home focused on Pregnant and Parenting Teen mothers and their children in foster care. We provide services, classes, and resources to our young mothers to help them gain confidence as they mature and transition out to "the real world".

Our highly trained staff support our youth and ensure they receive the services they need. Because we are a facility that houses youth 24/7, we do require a flexible schedule (including days, nights, weekends, and holidays).  However, we are also flexible and can usually work around school schedules!

We are currently hiring for the full time, PM (2P-10P) and OVERNIGHT (10p-6a) shifts at our New Braunfels campus. We prefer that you have open availability if you choose to apply. During the application process you will be required to undergo an extensive background check process to include: criminal history check, DMV report, DFPS background check, FBI fingerprinting, drug test and TB test. The pay range is between $10.66-12.66 depending on experience and education.
